The story of the Dampt brothers is a modern epic story made of encounters, perseverance and convictions. They started on a modest farm: a straw cellar alongside the sheep.
Accompanied by their father, they undertake to revive the Vignoble du Tonnerrois. Year after year, harvest after harvest, they extend, build and prosper the exploitation.
With a few ares and a "straw boot", they now offer a range of 33 Burgundy wines representative of the 3 valleys.
The Dampt Frères vineyard now covers the 3 valleys of Yonne, Serein and Armançon.
Eric and Emmanuel Dampt work this vast vineyard with great care: each plot is the subject of special attention to allow him to express all his qualities. They are keen to present in their wines, their terroirs and all the wealth of the 3 valleys.
