Located where the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune meet, only the vineyards of Pernand-Vergelesses can claim to have both white and red, and the four levels of appellation : Grand Cru, 1er Cru, Village and Bourgogne
Domaine Dubreuil - Fontaine uses the noble grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot noir to make up its wide range of 22 appellations : starting from the fruity Bourgogne, to the lively village , from the prestigious Premier cru to the rare Grand Cru. Its vineyards cover the villages of: Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny Les Beaune, Pommard, Beaune and Volnay.
Their cultivating methods are environmentally friendly, the goal is to produce a rich and healthy harvest whilst ensuring the sustainability of the soils. The treatments and spraying are reasoned, soils are tilled in order to maintain maximum natural balance of the vineyards. Harvesting is carried out by hand and sorted, maturity is checked upon arrival at the winery. The harvest is hand picked and manually sorted grapes.
