Tasting notes: "A terrific success, the 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes opens in the glass with aromas of raspberries, cherries, Indian spices and blood orange. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's concentrated and multidimensional, with lively acids, velvety tannins and a long, mineral finish. This is worth a special effort to seek out." - William Kelly, Wine Advocate
About the winery: Domaine Felettig is one of the names that Burgundy connoisseurs would rather keep to themselves. Gilbert and his sister Christine form the second generation of winegrowers on the estate, after having succeeded from their father and founder of the Domaine, Henri Felettig. Pauline, Gilbert's daughter, has recently joined them. With a history of only 40 years, the Domaine has seen many changes from its very beginning and has expanded rapidly to reach a size of 12.5 hectares, whose 60% rented. Production is small, quality is high, as is the demand, which is why the family's wines are rarely seen outside France.
