Tasting notes: The wine opens on the nose with dried apricots, exotic fruits and tangy notes of candied lemon. The attack is soft, suave, fruity and mineral with a touch of salinity on the finish, which leaves a salivating finish.
About the winery: The Domaine Yves Gangloff is one of the best producers in the northern Rhone Valley. He owes it to serious and rigorous work on his 11 hectares of vines on granite and schist soils. This atypical winegrower is, above all, a distinguished artist (rock musician) who became a winegrower almost by accident. His sensitivity, humility and artistic dimension are reflected in his wines. The latter, suave, deep and balanced, are among the most sought after in the region. The bottles' labels are made by his brother, Pierre, a painter.
