Tasting notes: Its intense red colour with purplish reflections attracts the eye and the nose with flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and liquorice makes us want to explore further. This wine has a powerful structure.
About the winery: The Domaine Les Bruyeres has been created in the 18th century by Marron family and is now running by their direct descendant, David Reynaud. The estate of 23 hectares is located in the centre of the appellation Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, in the North of the Rhone Valley. Since 2003, the vineyard is fully biodynamic. The terroir is a mix of pebble stones, that contribute to good drainage, on top of a clay-limestone bedrock that stores the water and provides optimal nutrition for the vines.
