Domaine REMOISSENET Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2012
$454.00 SGD$489.00 SGD
Wine Region: Burgundy - France
Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting notes: "The 2012 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is finely cut and focused to the core. Graphite, crushed rocks, plums and black cherries burst from the glass as the 2012 shows off its energy and intensity. There is a brightness and pure, saline-infused tension I find hugely appealing. The Clos Vougeot is another wine that demands patience." Antonio Galloni, Vinous
About the winery:
Founded in 1877 by Pierre-Alfred Remoissenet, in the heart of Beaune, Maison Remoissenet Pere & Fils is well known by lovers of great Burgundy wines. The generations followed each other at the head of the estate before being acquired by Edward L. Milstein, an American. He surrounded himself with an expert team of Burgundy wine to carry on the family's prestigious reputation. In the vineyard, we practice sustainable agriculture, and we follow the principles of organic farming. The wines are vinified in vasks then aged in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months.
