Tasting notes: "Cedar and vanilla shadings mark the nose of the 2016 Cote Rotie le Champon. It's intense and red fruited, with a medium to full-bodied palate and a long, velvety finish." - Wine Advocate
About the winery: It was in 1997 that Stephane Ogier joined the family estate, rooted for seven generations on the hillsides of Ampuis. After studying viticulture and oenology in Beaune, Stephane left home to work with some of the best winemakers in Burgundy and abroad. By taking over from his father Michel, he chooses to do specific work on his different terroirs to reveal the uniqueness of these places full of history.
