Tasting notes: "Located just below Leyat on the Côte Brune, the 2018 Cote Rotie Cote Bodin is more red-fruited and even hints at dried herbs, with red raspberries and mint notes balanced by notes of black olives. Medium to full-bodied, it's concentrated, tannic and firm, but with a long, silky-textured finish. Give it at least a few years in the cellar." - Joe Czerwinski, The Wine Advocate

About the winery:
It was in 1997 that Stephane Ogier joined the family estate, rooted for seven generations on the hillsides of Ampuis. After studying viticulture and oenology in Beaune, Stephane left home to work with some of the best winemakers in Burgundy and abroad. By taking over from his father, Michel, he chooses to do specific work on his different terroirs in order to reveal the uniqueness of these places full of history.
