EMILIAN GILLET

Gautier Thévenet

The estate founded in 1988 by Jean Thévenet bears Emilian Gillet's name, ancestor winemaker of the Thévenet family.

The vines are in the hamlet of Quintaine, extend over approximately 10 hectares, and flourish on limestone soil, giving the wine a particular mineral freshness that merges with the aroma of citrus and white flowers.

Gautier Thévenet works the vines in the same spirit of respect for nature to allow the terroir to express itself as well as possible. After manual harvesting and thermoregulated vinification without adding yeasts, the wine is aged in epoxy vats for 12 to 18 months depending on the harvest quality.
