LA PÉRINADE

Jean Arnal

Bordered by the Canal du Midi on one side, and the tributary Fresquel River on the other side, this family estate has been passed down from generation to generation, always with the same passion for this demanding profession.

Bordered by the Canal du Midi on one side, and the tributary Fresquel River on the other side, this family estate has been passed down from generation to generation, always with the same passion for this demanding profession.

Located 10 km west of Carcassonne, the farm benefits from a Mediterranean climate and Oceanic influence.

After a night harvest, the grapes are gently pressed without maceration for the Grenache or a short maceration of 4 hours for the Viognier. Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 15°C. Aging on lees for 6 months precedes bottling carried out at the Château with a light filtration. Very few sulfites are used.
