WSET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We have been accredited by The Wine & Spirit Education Trust® (WSET). We follow the guideline provided by WSET® to run the courses. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions that may arise during these courses.
Booking and Payment
Booking is only confirmed when full payment is received with the completed registration form. Once the registration form and payment are received, Galiena will issue an invoice/receipt to the applicant.
In the event the booking is made for a third party (the student), you agree to pay the full amount directly. This amount is not refundable. You also agree to share with us the identity and contact of the student. We may use this information to contact this person to confirm the booking. We are not responsible if the person can not attend the courses that have been booked and confirmed.

Refund, transfer and Cancellation Policies
Any transfer of course or applicant must be requested via writing to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Students who cancel within 14 days of registration and at least 14 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund of payment minus a non-refundable registration fee (20% of total amount). Cancellations after this time will forfeit all payments. Any requests for cancellation must be sent in writing via email to: email@example.com
Course transfers cannot be carried forward to a subsequent academic year. Course transfers of a confirmed booking either to another course or applicant can be made up to 14 days before the course start date without any extra charge. In the event, the student asks after the 14 days before the course start date, an administrative fee will incur (10% of the total amount for Level 1 & Level 2, and 5% of the total amount for Level 3). Any requests for transfers must be sent in writing via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
If the candidate does not attend the course without having informed Galiena, it will be considered that the candidate wishes to withdraw from the course. Therefore, the full course fee will be forfeited.
Examination dates are connected to the course onto which you book. Transfer of an exam to an alternative date at least 3 WEEKS prior to the original examination will incur an administration fee of $50.00. All examination transfer requests less than 14 days before the examination will incur an administration and re-sit fee. Any requests for examination transfers must be sent in writing via email to: email@example.com
Galiena has a "minimum five pax to confirm course" clause and reserves the right to postpone or reschedule the course due to the minimum required number of candidates not being met. In this event, your seat will be automatically rescheduled to the following session without any extra charges. We may notify you of any schedule modification by using the contacts you provided upon registration.
Galiena reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or postpone the course in the event the speaker is unable to turn up due to illness, accidents, emergency or disruption due to unforseen circumstances.
Study packs, once collected, will be considered sold, and no refund will be considered.
Consumption of Alcohol
Candidate(s) under the legal drinking age are not allowed to sample any alcohol in any course(s). However, it is not a barrier for any candidate to attend and complete some accredited programmes successfully (WSET® Award in Wines Level 1 and Level 2).
On examination day, the candidate must show proof of identity (ID card, driver's license or passport) to the management, facilitator, or examiner. Galiena may not allow candidates to sit for the examination if they fail to do so.
Exams are marked by The Wine & Spirit Education Trust. We are not responsible for any failure. In the event you want to re-take the exam, you agree to pay any extra charges that may arise.
Galiena will not bear any additional costs that may incur for replacement of certificate and pin in the event of lost, damage or wrong information on the certificate.

Due to the current government regulations, you are kindly required to be fully vaccinated. The educator will check your certification via TraceTogether before the beginning of the course. If no proof can be provided, unfortunately, we will not be able to accept you in this class.
We are requesting you to take an ART test prior to each class. Please do take a picture with your name and date for us to verify.
