Wine Region: Burgundy - France

Grape: Pinot Noir

Tasting notes: "The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes unwinds in the glass with aromas of plums, cassis and spices, rendered reticent by a touch of youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, it's one of the more reserved wines in the cellar today, but the underlying materials show plenty of promise." - William Kelly, Wine Advocate

About the winery:
Domaine Felettig is one of the names that Burgundy connoisseurs would rather keep to themselves. Gilbert and his sister Christine form the second generation of winegrowers on the estate, after having succeeded from their father and founder of the Domaine, Henri Felettig. Pauline, Gilbert's daughter, has recently joined them. With a history of only 40 years, the Domaine has seen many changes from its very beginning and has expanded rapidly to reach a size of 12.5 hectares, whose 60% rented. Production is small, quality is high, as is the demand, which is why the family's wines are rarely seen outside France.
